I was tempted to make this private because all my resolutions aren’t health related, but I figured you all be the best people to hold me accountable. SO, here goes…
1) Reach my goal weight of 140 pounds. Because, well, obviously.
2) Put more effort into my appearance. I spend a lot of time in sweatpants with my hair up, and that is due in part to my extremely casual work environment. I also find it pointless to do my hair/make-up every day when I am just going to the gym after work anyways. But, I need/want to start looking my best every day. When I look better, I feel better. And I always want to feel better.
3) Stop committing to things and then bailing. I have a lot of different friends and make a lot of plans, but I end up cancelling and making excuses for a lot of them. This year, I will only commit to things I want to do and follow through with them.
4) Stop double-booking. This goes hand-in-hand with number 3- I double book myself a lot and then have to cancel/be a douche to one person. I need to stop this!
5) Do what I want to do. I need to finally bite the bullet and do what I want to do. I want to travel. I want to do more things during the summer. I want to LIVE. I’m sick of toning down myself to be in line with what other people want me to be.
6) Disconnect at least an hour before bed. I have been having a terrible time waking up in the morning lately, and I think it is because I constantly have my eyes focused on some sort of electronic. So, I want to start relaxing before I go to bed.
This is an ever-growing, ever-evolving list. I can’t wait to get going. 2012 is going to be awesome.
